For the girl who is losing things

One little prayer for a girl who first lost her job, and then her new expensive spectacles. I pray she starts 'finding' things for a change.

Updates of previous prayers

Dear Readers,
Thanks a million!!! Our prayers are working.....
I will tell you in brief about their effects on each of the cases...
  1. For a badly begun day to turn good: That day, my friend went home early feeling sick. She was in a much better mood the next day. I am not sure it was our prayer, but I am still glad we prayed for her.
  2. For guidance from God: The boy I was praying for has got admitted into a medical college.
  3. For better luck: Mr. SBK had to pay Rs. 8000 for the repairs of his car. He has been offered the whole sum by his friend who had brought the stranger along with him, but not by the stranger himself. He has refused. He had expected the damages to go beyond 15ooo, so 8000 is still not so bad....
  4. Lost Passport: Wonder of wonders.... MO found it!!!! It actually happened the way we prayed it would happen... a good Samaritan returned it. He brought it personally to her old address, and her old neighbor kept it for her!!
Keep the faith!

For the reward of patience

One little prayer for my friend KKH, who is being tested for basic virtues like patience, perseverance and tolerance. I pray that his soul finds the strength to bring him through all this and that he is FREE. I pray that he finds the strength to bring his life back on track after the major tragedy that he had to face.

Lost Passport

One little prayer for MO, who lost her passport, with a valid visa, a month before she is due to travel. I hope the thief who flicked her purse has sense enough to discard the passport, so that some benevolent person finds it and sends it back....
If this is far-fetched, I hope at least that all the reprocessing happens in time for her to travel...

For better luck

One little prayer today for Mr SBK, who wanted to do good. He gave a ride a stranger in his car. When the destination was reached, the stranger opened the wrong door, and the door was smashed by a speeding bus. Should we say SBK was lucky the stranger was unhurt, or unlucky that he has to pay for his niceness?
If you are there God, bring some good luck his way..... he has had more than his share of the bad.

For guidance from God

One Little prayer today for the boy who is confused about what to do after 12th std.
Medicine? Engineering? Biotechnology? Mass Media?
The choices are few because of an average performance, and the desire is strong to become a doctor.
I pray that God guides him, and he becomes happy and successful in whatever comes his way.

For a badly begun day to turn good

One little prayer today for my friend who was splashed by dirty monsoon water on her way to work . I pray for her peace, and I also pray that some sense be knocked into the head of the evil motorist who probably doesn't even know/care about the distress he caused.

I pray my friend still has a good day, despite the bad start.

About

One little prayer is, just like its name, about one little prayer. One little prayer, by each reader of this blog, that will make all the difference.
Here's how it will work. I will post one little prayer once in a while. This will be a prayer I am sending into the universe each moment I pray. My readers will pledge their prayer-support by adding comments. Prayer-support means they too will include my 'one little prayer' in their daily prayer.

I believe in God.
I believe in collective prayer.
I believe in faith.
I believe that if everyone prays for one common good together, it just might be granted by God.
I believe that this blog will help many people.

This is about religion..this is about faith. Only, it is not about any one religion, or any one faith. Rather, it is about collective conversation. It is about each individual's relation with his sacred space. Go on, test you sacred space. Bring on your prayers too. I will add them if I feel for them as you do.
And, I will let you know when they start working!
Happy praying, and keep the faith.
